That's not a typo. I've mentioned before that I sometimes use snippits of Shakespeare quotes to title my paintings. Because the promise of spring is peeaking out from the snow, this one has a floral feel to it. A crazed Iris? Anyway I googled "Shakespeare spring" and found "Speak of the spring, and foison of the year,..." I have never in my life heard or seen the work "foison." Mirriam Webster deems it obsolete and Scottish and it means physical energy or strength. How could I resist.
