I've decided to concentrate on my abstract work for awhile. ⁠ One reason is that it gets me down in the studio, I'm more motivated to explore this side of my muse. ⁠ ⁠ A lot of my friends, and dare I say fans really like the more representational impressionist work that I've been doing. I do really love doing landscapes, portraits, and still lifes, but I think the non-representational and representational but highly stylized work is more interesting artistically. Also there are thousands of people doing neo-impressionism these days and most of them are better at it than me. The abstract work is more unique to me.
