High summer in Madison Wisconsin. My wife, Rebecca and I rode down with a friend and met our daughters and granddaughters from Chicago there for the weekend. The weather was amazing and the sky was full of beautiful cumulus clouds. This was taken walking back from the park where the water tower from a previous painting is. The tree on the left is a King Crimson Maple, an amazing dark reddish purple hue. Almost unbelievable in a painting, but I think I actually hit the color pretty close.
