Well. I said I was going to concentrate on abstract paintings. And this one started out to be an abstract composition based on a landscape photo I took in Central Oregon. But as it progressed it came together as a pretty representational image.

I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out and now I'm thinking I should do more landscapes. Well you know what they say. Consistensy is the hobgoblin of small minds. ⁠
