This is one of my first efforts at painting on gessoed paper. I used Rives BFK, a high quality acid free paper used in printmaking. I really like the surface. I don’t know if it’s the quality of the gesso or what, but the colors seem to come out more saturated than on the Ampersand boards. It’s also a larger format than I’ve been working on lately.
