This started out as an earlier painting that I didn't like. I've been thinking about using sandpaper to expose the layers of color and create new textures, so I painted over most of it with a bright cadmium red, did some sanding and then painted over that with the light and dark blue, sanded again and finally put int the yellow. The yellow was a little too bright at first so after I sanded it a little a came back in with some warm glazes to tone it down a bit. I'm happy with the outcome.

I need to remember to wear a mask when I'm sanding, don't need any cadmium dust in my lungs.
